As Beltane/May Day/Walpurgis approaches and isolation means no gathering this year 2020, I thought I would share again some of the images of the celebration in Glastonbury from 2015.
Beltane is the festival of fertility and fire. Glastonbury on Beltane brings out the most lovely people! After meeting in the town they form a procession, led by the May queen and king, walking to a field overlooking the tor to then dance around the May Pole and commune with the Goddess.
A truly spiritual journey recommended to anyone. The pictures speak for themselves :o)
looks fun…

Fantastic photos of faces capturing expressions of a joyous occasion.
The green man face with the one tooth smile, oh! I like them all.

So awesome. I hope someday to attend some of these events in person… once there’s a vaccine. It looks like such fun!

Thank you for your comments Diana. The gathering in Glastonbury for Beltane is quite special and brings together a really eclectic crowd who are totally as peace with each other. If it’s not raining it’s even better. A read of “The mists of Avalon” would put you in tune with area’s magic ready for the event. Synchronicity is an odd thing – this morning I just finished writing my quick review of “Catlin’s Bane” for my other blog https://wordsofdelights.wordpress.com/ Truly creative story telling :o)
